Chelsea dominate PFA awards nominations
Five Chelsea players in the running for the Women's PFA Players' Player of the Year award
Five Chelsea players are in line for the Women's PFA Players' Player of the Year award after the nominees were announced on Sunday.
The PFA Awards celebrates the best of English football in an evening attended by hundreds of current professionals, to recognise the outstanding performers in every division.
Players from FA WSL 1 have been voting and the shortlist is as follows:
- Ramona Bachmann (Chelsea)
- Millie Bright (Chelsea)
- Fran Kirby (Chelsea)
- Maren Mjelde (Chelsea)
- Jill Scott (Manchester City)
- Ji So-Yun (Chelsea)
Meanwhile, three Manchester City players are in contention for the Women’s PFA Young Player of the Year award:
- Erin Cuthbert (Chelsea)
- Gabby George (Everton)
- Lauren Hemp (Bristol City)
- Ellie Roebuck (Manchester City)
- Georgia Stanway (Manchester City)
- Keira Walsh (Manchester City)
The 45th PFA Awards will be held in London on Sunday 22 April.
